The picture isnt geat as its from my mobile. they are so much fun and the public love them, as do we!" - Liz
"Hey can I just say thank you so much for letting myself and charlotte to adopt Jilly, Daisy and Poppy we having the greatest time ever; each of their personalities come shinning trough Jilly shows her age but when she wants to do something she does it so well and with lots of energy. Daisy is really sweet she has a mad energy when with poppy but like her time out with Jilly to cuddle and to take a break. Then we come to Poppy she is just the bounciest thing I have ever seen she is always exploring and checking everything out, also has fallen in love with any bottle with liquid init, she must have it. Many thanks for everything."- Julian & Charlotte
Gismo's biting did make me very nervous of him as it was scary the way he bit onto skin and didnt want to let go! but a tap on the nose and a stern no seemed to have done the trick and ive only had to do this twice so far and as i said if he does attemp it i point my finger and say NO and he backs away.
They are doing absolutely fine! they have their milk in the morning which they always get up for so i get to say goodbye to them before i go to work. and they like to try and help me clean the litter tray everyday haha - they are sooo curious!
They seem to know when im home because at 7:30 every evening they know that i let them out so they wait near their door (soo cute) when i let them out i give them a few treats so they are straight over to me when they come out of their cage for cuddles and a treat, then they go off and play in their tube and run everywhere.
They have claimed robs slippers (which he dont wear no more) also they love their squeaky toys and their big rabbit cuddly toy which they both grab and take under the bed together.
Gismo take a big shine to rob! he seems to like climbing on his lap as if to say "hey im not so bad, give me cuddles" haha so robs confidence is growing with him.
Their personalities are shining! ive found out Tango is kinda lazy and Gismo is very playful and likes to dance a lot. Ive heard them do their little laugh (dooking i think they call it) also their dance and tail wags!
Gismo is very good at using the litter tray when he is out, as he goes in when he needs it and comes back out to play...where as Tango seems to be a little lazy as somtimes has a toilet on the floor - i dont tell him off for this, i just put him in his cage near the litter tray to try and tell him. Do you think he is trying to mark his territory when he goes to the toilet on the floor? or is this lazyness haha
Yesterday evening they were licking ferretone of my fingers!! they love the stuff. The night before i put some water in a bucket with some toys and they both got in it!! they loved playing in the water! when they finished i dried them in a towel as they were a little wet :)
Today Gismo and tango played so much that they actually decided to go back in their cage after 2 hours and go to bed haha,
Chrissy they have brought happiness to my life - although a little frightened at the beginning, with your help and advice things have gone along smoothly.
I love Gismo and Tango, It was silly of me to even say ill have to return them because i would have made a big mistake. They are a part of the family now.
As soon as i get some "still" pictures of them ill send some to you. - Claire :0)
"I just wanted to pass on our thanks for your totally unexepected and most appreciated assistance in re-uniting our pet ferret Nippa with his brother Frankie.
Nippa managed to escape from their house on saturday, and we feared the worst until a friend contacted us today and told us about your article about a recovered ferret with Chrissy from the Three Shires Ferret Rescue. On hearing that a ferret had been handed into her, I got in touch immediately with Chrissy and, after a chat on the phone (and a brief word with moping Frankie!) my daughter and I drove to Rushden and confirmed to our great relief that the recovered ferret was indeed our much missed Nippa. The two brothers were re-united not long after - to much bouncing around and ferrety noises!
Thank you so very much for running this story. Our thanks also go to the Police and the RSPCA - and especially to Chrissy for the parts you all took in bringing Nippa home. You've helped make two ferrets (and their owners) very happy! "
Thanks again,
Mike Hamblin

"They're becoming real members of the family now! Mudge is getting much more confident and Jill is mostly a very sweet little girl. We've just been playing 'chase' around the house. I didn't realise that having ferrets would also be a form of exercise! "- Jane

"Thanks for letting us rehome Willy and Buddy, Since getting them home we have never had a dull moment, they have us in stitches with their weasel war dance! Buddy has since come out of his shell and loves interaction."
Sonia & Max, Flitwick

"Sprout and Bean in snow, had a huge amount of fun yesterday."
Will, Bedford
"Ferrets are not for everyone and need a lot of love, care and attention, along with persistence, perseverance and patience when training them. In just over 2 months they have become an integral part of my family, the rewards you get from them outweigh the whacky behaviour from these inquisitive creatures that get up to so much mischief.
Chrissie runs a very good centre and I would recommend anyone thinking of getting a Ferret to rescue one from the Three Shires Ferret Rescue. Give 10 out of 10 for Information Care and the service she runs. Thank you Chrissie, I'm ferret mad now." - Mr J Sarson.
